The Gateway to 21st Century Skills The Gateway is a consortium efofrt to provide teachers with quick and easy access to tens of thousands of educational resources found on various federal, state, university, non-profit, and commercial Internet sites.
Federal Resources for Educational Excellence Search the database by subject area to find lessons, links, and resources.  One of the very best lesson plan sites on the Internet.
The Literacy Web University of Connecticut website that links research and practice.  Lots of ideas, lesson plans, and tools for teaching literacy.
PBS Teachers Search for standards-based resources and links to PBS programming.
TeacherTube Teacher videos, lesson plan videos, student video lessons, online teacher created videos.
Google for Educators Tools for your classroom adn searchable classroom activities.
Chicago Public Schools Instructional Intranet Great ideas for lessons, assessments, rubrics, technology integration and curriculum standards.
PALS PALS is an online, standards-based, continually updated resource bank of science performance assessment tasks indexed to the National Science Edcuation Standards.  Many of the performance indicators match NYS science standards.
Univ of Wisconsin - Rubrics for Assessment A great source of rubrics for all types of projects and performance tasks.
National Library of Vitrual Manipulatives A library of uniquely interactive, web-based virtual manipulatives or concept tutorials for mathematics instruction K-12.  Very cool stuff.
The Educator's Desk Reference Teachers can browse lesson plans by subject area and grad level.
Discovery Education Lesson Plan Library Search hundreds of lesson plans at all levels by subject area and grade.  Cool links to other lesson plan sites.
Columbia Education Center Lesson Plans A searchable database of lesson plans by subject area and grade level.
Blue Web 'N An online library developed by AT & T Education that brovivdes links to over 2000 outstanding Internet sides categorized by subject, grade level, and format (tools, referencs, lessons, hotlists, resources, tutorials, and projets).
Kennedy Center ArtsEdge Curriculum and lesson ideas from the National Arts and Education Network, searchable by arts subject and grade level.
EDSitement Lesson plan database searchable by grade level and subject area categorized by the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Specializes in lessons on Art & Culture, Literature & Language Arts, Foreign Language, and History/Social Studies.
EconEdLink A premier source of classroom tested, Internet-based economic lesson materials for K-12 teachers.
The Math Archives A portal for lesson plans, Internet sites, and topics in mathematics.  Very extensive but not easily searchable.
Peace Corps WorldWise Schools Lesson Plans Search a library of lesson plans by subject area and grade level created from experiences of the Peace Corps community.

Authentic Education - The Faculty Room Explore the essential questions of education with a group of provocative bloggers.
Visible Thinking Simply the best model for critical thinking and learning in existance.  It was put together by the researchers from Harvard University's Project Zero Team.  This site is filled with great ideas about how to teach critical thinking - the best framework and set of materials on the web. 
All Things Assessment A collaborative site and blog where educators can discover new assessment practices, as well as ideas for refining their current assessments system or practices.
All Things PLC One of the best sites on learning communitites and collaborative practice.  A great resource for CDEP teams.
Looking at Student Work A website developed by the Chicago Learning Collaborative and the Anneberg Institute for School Reform that focuses on new ways of looking at student work that emphasizes teachers working in teams, reflecting on important questions, and using structures and protocols.  Absolutely great stuff.
